William E. “Liam” Scully III is an accomplished attorney with more than 15 years of experience in the courtroom and a deep commitment to justice and fairness. He leads Scully Law, P.C., a general practice firm serving clients across Baldwin County and South Alabama. In addition to his private practice, Liam is the Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Bay Minette and has previously served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office.
A graduate of McGill-Toolen Catholic High School, Liam has called South Alabama home his entire life. He earned his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Dallas and graduated cum laude from Cumberland School of Law in 2009, where he was a member of the nationally recognized Trial Team.
Liam began his legal career in the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office, prosecuting serious felony cases and handling civil tax appeals on behalf of the Baldwin County Revenue Commissioner. In 2012, he entered private practice alongside his father, current Baldwin County District Court Judge Bill Scully, before founding his own firm in 2017.
Active in the legal and civic community, Liam was elected President of the Baldwin County Bar Association in 2020 and is a dedicated volunteer with the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program, providing pro bono legal assistance to those in need. He also serves on the Baldwin County Republican Executive Committee and is involved with various local organizations.
Liam and his wife, Anna, live in Daphne with their two daughters, Molly and Jane. They are long-time parishioners at Christ the King Catholic Church.
